Armor, health, and money:

Note: If this code is enabled while your car is smoking or damaged it will get repaired.

While in various missions where you are in a car while someone else drives and you shoot (for example, Reuniting The Families), enabling this code will instead destroy the car, failing the mission.

Press Triangle, R1(2), Left, R1, L1, R2, L1 during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. After this code is enabled press L3 to make your car jump. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Aggressive traffic:
Press R2, Circle, R1, L2, Left, R1, L1, R2, L2 during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Note: This will also increase police activity. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Faster cars:
Press Right, R1, Up, L2(2), Left, R1, L1, R1(2) during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Invisible cars:
Press Triangle, L1, Triangle, R2, Square, L1(2). Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Flying cars:
Press Square, Down, L2, Up, L1, Circle, Up, X, Left during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Cars can be flown like a normal plane.

Cars fly away:
Press Square, R2, Down(2), Left, Down, Left(2), L2, X during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Hit another car with your vehicle to send it flying up into the sky.

Drive on water:
Press Right, R2, Circle, R1, L2, Square, R1, R2 during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Vehicle of death:
Press L1, L2(2), Up, Down(2), Up, R1, R2(2) during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Any vehicle driven becomes invincible and has the ability to destroy anything it touches. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Note: This code will eventually wear off if you run into many cars with the same vehicle. It runs out faster when the "Destroy all vehicles" code is enabled over thirty times. Also, if you enable this code when inside a vehicle, the vehicle will explode others on contact, but your car will not be "shielded" as it would be if you entered the code before entering the vehicle. Therefore, this results in your vehicle exploding as well. If you do happen to enable this code inside a vehicle, get out, then get back in and it should function normally.

To have a stronger car that is much harder to dent and damage, enable the "Vehicle of death" code, enter a vehicle, then disable the code while you are in the vehicle.

Black traffic:
Press Circle, L2, Up, R1, Left, X, R1, L1, Left, Circle during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Pink traffic:

City in chaos:
Press L2, Right, L1, Triangle, Right(2), R1, L1, Right, L1(3) during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. This produces an effect that is similar to what happens in the final mission of the game, with rioting and looting and buildings on fire.

Press X(2), Down, R2, L2, Circle, R1, Circle, Square. A message will confirm correct code entry. Pedestrians turn into Asian men armed with katanas, vehicles will be black motorcycles, police cars will be black, and CJ will have a katana.

Beach party theme:

Carnival theme:

Rural theme:

Commit suicide:

No effect:
Press Square(2), R2, Left, Up, Square, R2, X(3) during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. Although this appears to be a valid code, it has no discernible effect in the game.

Cheat code warning:
You should not use cheat codes too frequently until you complete the mission where you save Madd Dogg from jumping off the casino rooftop. The game will prevent you from completing this mission if codes have been used excessively. Note: This number appears to be cheats being used 756 or more times. When this number has been exceeded, Madd Dogg will jump off the roof in a few seconds, making it impossible to save him.

Note: If you encounter this problem, enable the "Slow motion" or "Adrenaline effects" codes to get there faster. You still must be quick in order to save Madd Dogg.
